What we see in West Palm Beach homes
West Palm Beach has some of the oldest housing in the county, with historic neighborhoods like El Cid and Flamingo Park sitting a few minutes from newer towers and townhomes. An older house and a new one need very different things from a dryer vent. In an older home the laundry may have been added or moved long after the house was built, and the vent has to take whatever path was available. We charge a flat price per vent, with a two-hour arrival window and most visits inside 48 hours.
Older homes, odd paths
El Cid is a listed historic district known for Mediterranean Revival and Mission-style houses, and Grandview Heights was developed in the 1910s and 1920s. In houses from that era, a laundry area is often a later addition, so the duct may be routed around beams, through a crawl space or up into an attic. Odd paths collect lint at the corners. We follow the duct wherever it goes and clean it from end to end.
Townhomes and downtown buildings
Closer to the waterfront and downtown, many residents live in townhomes and multi-story buildings where several dryers vent close together. In a building, one neglected vent is easy to overlook because nobody sees the outside wall. If you sit on a board or manage a property, ask about per-unit pricing on our condo and HOA page, where each unit gets its own written record.
Booking from anywhere in the city
Whether you are in Northwood, Flamingo Park or south of Okeechobee Boulevard, you can book online, pick a window, and we show up inside it. We test your dryer before we leave, and you pay when we are done. Roof exits need a phone call first. The work will be done.
What a dirty vent looks like here
Over years of renovation, a duct inside a wall can get bent, pinched or rerouted without anyone noticing. If you have lived in your home a long time and never had the vent cleaned, assume lint has built up. A longer drying time is the clearest sign. We will tell you what we find, clean it, and run your dryer to make sure the air gets out.
